After School Enrichment

Miss Shannon’s Sewing has been teaching hand sewing and embroidery as after school enrichment since 2007.  Teaching at The Wesley School, Oakwood, Buckley, St. Francis Xavier, Roosevelt and Liggett Elementary, along with over 40 other schools in Los Angeles, Burbank and Simi Valley.  We can create an 8 to 15 week curriculum.  First project teaches how to sew on a button.  Following up with patching, embellishments and all other stitches and skills.  Materials are precut and provided along with a sewing kit.  We teach kindergarten through 5th grade.  Can teach any day of the week, classes run about an hour.  We are fully insured and each teacher is livescanned.  Happy to provided references.  We love teaching sewing and would love to bring a program to your school or facility.
