we teach children and 'child' like adults how to hand sew, embroider and sew on machines through small group classes
Miss Shannon's Sewing teaches hand sewing and embroidery as after school enrichment at schools in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, Burbank and Simi Valley. Schools include The Wesley School, Oakwood, Buckley, Curtis and St. Francis Xavier.
Miss Shannon's Sewing also offers classes taught at our studios. Since we teach hand sewing and embroidery at so many schools our studio classes focus on teaching children how to sew on a machine.
In 2009 Shannon Allbright, a former clothing designer, started teaching sewing at a summer camp which quickly turned into an after school enrichment program. 10 years later, with a staff of 17 beloved instructors, Miss Shannon's Sewing is running 50 classes a week.
